Play any synthesizer or virtual instrument with your reliable guitar.

MIDI Guitar is the World's first application to convert guitar playing into MIDI in real-time, with a latency and accuracy that are comparable to expensive and inconvenient hardware MIDI guitar solutions.

MIDI Guitar has undergone more than 10 years of development(!) and is based on cutting-edge polyphonic pitch detection and prediction technology, which can accurately recognize guitar playing and articulation with minimal latency and without false hits. The technology has been tested and validated by thousands of guitarists over the years.

MIDI Guitar is available as an AudioUnit plugin (AUv3) and as a standalone application that can host other iOS synthesizer applications or send virtual MIDI to Garageband or other Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs).

For optimal results, it is recommended to use a guitar interface. We suggest using a digital interface (using the lightning connector) instead of an analog interface (via headphone jack), preferably with input gain control. While using an acoustic guitar with the built-in microphone may work for some purposes, it is not the most optimal setup.

The free version of MIDI Guitar will occasionally interrupt your play sessions, prompting you to make an in-app purchase.
